There will be curriculum updates on my site this week, modified for distance learning! Stay tuned! As the school year is about to begin, I've noticed that I am getting more visitors to the site looking for curriculum, especially on thematic teaching. This had been ONE busy summer! Outside of the classroom, I also do professional development and union work so took up a lot of my time. This summer was just filled with endless Zoom and WebEx meetings. Just when I thought I could catch a break, distance learning professional development started. I could barely catch a break to update the website and my curriculum. Things are slowly settling down before the storm that is full-on distance learning, which is something most of us will be doing. I know we all hate it, but it's the safest option now out there to preserve as many lives as possible.
About curriculum resource updates... As time progresses, you can find updated resources via my blog/email newsletters or the Distance Learning Resources section of my website. You should be seeing updates as early as this Thursday! Also, I'm not sure how I will be able to do it, but I will either be starting a YouTube channel (You can help me by subscribing to my channel so I can eventually meet the requirements to get a custom URL hahaha) or a podcast...heck or BOTH! Honestly, I'm not sure how I'll be able to do it, but I'm sure I'll find a way! Both mediums will be used to share resources and talk about teaching and the like. On an end note, I'm always open for collaboration. Feel free to contact me via email or social media! Hope all of you and your family are well and safe!
